HOLDEN CHARTERS
SOUTHPORT NORTH CAROLINA
05/01/10 AT THE TOWER
Had a good group of people that went out with us for our first charter trip of the season, and they wanted to bottom fish. We went to the Tower and started and steadily moved SW, the fish were chewing and the the group had sore arms. They caught some very nice Snapper, Grunts, Joltheads, and some Jumbo Black Bass. Thanks for the great trip George and Diane it was a pleasure to take you guys fishing.

05/15/10 ON THE 350 LINE
Had an all time favorite group from Sanford fishing with us today Jim and Ryan Pope. We didnt take the camera but we did bring home the bacon. They caught a nice cooler full of bottom dwellers and some Mahi and Kings on the Top Water. The water is getting perfect and we are looking forward to another awesome year. Thanks again for the great fishing trip.
05/22/10 EAST OF THE TOWER
Had a great group today from Kerrnesville and Oak Island that wanted some Top and Bottom action. Thse guys fished hard all day and had a big box of fish to show for their efforts. The Top water bite was sporatic but entertaining and all of them were able to land a Kingfish. Again the bottom dwellers were chewing and it was a great day on the water. Thanks to the Matson Group for another awesome charter trip.
06/05/10 ON THE 350 LINE
Had a great group of Postal Workers from Charlotte on Saturday, Brian, Bob and Chad. The SW wind was blowing pretty good which made it a little bumpy but that is a typical summer day off Southport. We caught some pogies at the lighthouse and steamed off to the 350 Line.
One of my mail men went down to the dresded sea sickness, I think Jose Curevo had talked him into a bad day the night before.
Got to the line and started slow trolling to find structure to bottom fish on and started picking at the bailer Mahi on the lite lines, found a nice ledge and dropped to the bottom and it was Game On. Nice BSB, Pinkies, Grunts, and then the Jumbo Scamp Grouper took over. Them 2 guys got a severe work out. They caught 5 Scamp and one Greenbean Then decided to stop and take a break when a school of small dolphin came to the boat so Tommy threw out a handful of cut squid and got them fired off, and then we finished wearing out our guest on 8 more Mahi and one lone Amberjack joined the party.
We had a good ride home - They had a good catch of fish and it was a great day on the water.

06/12/10 ON THE 350 LINE
Took a couple of brothers from Maryland out on Saturday and Sunday, Eric and Craig Bell. They fished with me last year and we had a good trip so we bottom fished on Saturday on Lake Atlantic on Trolled all day on Sunday in less favorable conditions.
These guys can fish!!!!!!! We started at the Horse shoe and worked to 40 miles out, They caught evrey bottom dweller there is and some Smoker Red Grouper. They also had Mahi, King and Fat Albert action on the lite lines all day also.

06/13/10 AT THE HORSE SHOE
SW Winds made it a little sporty so we trolled the Around the Horseshoe vicinity and picked at the Kings and Bailer Mahi all day. They went home with a monster box of fish.
Great Guys and Great Days on the water - Thanks for the business.
